Rick has been the pastor of Fellowship Forney since December 1977. There were twelve people in attendance on their first Sunday, seven of which were active members. Rick graduated from Criswell College in Dallas with a B.A. in Biblical Studies in May 1987. He is the author of the book, The Race: From Pit Row to Victory Lane.
Rick and Ann grew up in the same church and married at Friendship Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas on November 19, 1976. They have three grown children: Tamara and husband Jim Davis of Forney; Jared and wife Amy Lemons of Forney; and Olivia Lemons of Forney. They have six grandchildren: Isabella, Jenna, Joelle, Israel, Hendrix, and Halianna.
Rick’s responsibilities at Fellowship include teaching, administration, and casting vision. He enjoys playing golf, softball, and spending quality time with his wife and family. His love for the people of Fellowship Forney is evident, and his passion is for Fellowship Forney to be a church that helps people do what God is calling them to do.

Jared joined our staff in 2006 but grew up at Fellowship Forney. His responsibilities include directing and vision-casting for all worship, student, and family ministries. Jared holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies and an M.A. in Christian Leadership from the Criswell College.
Jared and his wife, Amy, have two children, Joelle and Israel. He enjoys spending time with his family, scuba diving, playing golf, and spending time with other families of Fellowship Forney.

Blake joined our staff as Student Pastor in 2018. He has a heart for students; and a desire to teach them what the Gospel is and where it has called them to go. He is responsible for the teaching and direction of our Student Ministry which includes The Core (5th-6th) and The Harbor (7th-12th) students.
Blake has been married to his wife Cassi since 2016 and they recently welcomed their first son Knox. He enjoys many things including golf, creating, beach volleyball, fellowship with his church, enjoying time with his family, and anything that includes his beloved Oklahoma Sooner or Oklahoma City Thunder.

Grace Smith joined our staff in 2006. Grace has three adult daughters, two sons-in-law, and her two grandsons!
Grace says “Next to my family, the children’s ministry is closest to my heart. I have the opportunity to mold the next generation to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. I get to have a lot of fun doing that, too!”

Shaun joined the Fellowship staff in 2005. He has a background in business and technology, having worked as a business manager and IT consultant. Shaun attended Jacksonville College as a music major. He loves music and enjoys hiking, canoeing, camping, and 4-wheeling. Shaun and his wife, Jamie, were married in 1999.

Steve joined the Fellowship Staff in 2018, directing Adult Discipleship and serving as one of Fellowship’s local missionaries for the North Central Texas Region of Awana International. Steve holds a B.A. in Bible and Psychology, an M.A in Counseling, and has pastored churches in Tennessee and Texas. He recently retired from Dallas County Probation Office and had worked as a training specialist for the Department of Homeland Security & T.S.A. Steve and his wife, Rebekah, have two daughters and four grandchildren. He enjoys singing, teaching, and spending time with his family.

Lauren joined our staff in 2017. She and her husband Cole have two children, Colbie and Jase. Lauren is a paramedic with a B.S. in Emergency Health Sciences and has a passion for child safety. She believes the nursery should be a safe and loving environment where parents can feel confident leaving their children while they fellowship and worship the Lord together.

Gayleen joined our staff in 2008. She serves as Church Accountant and coordinator of Women's Events. She has a degree in Accounting from Amber University. Gayleen is more comfortable in a "behind-the-scenes" position, which carries over in her involvement in planning Fellowship Women's Events. Although her administrative skills are essential to these events, you will very seldom see her on stage! Gayleen has two daughters, Susan and Ginger, and a grandson, Will, who keeps her laughing!
