What is TEAM?
TEAM is an after-school program designed to help build the hearts and minds of children in Forney. Through the combined efforts of Fellowship Church and the community of Forney, TEAM gives students the opportunity to sharpen their academic skills in a character-building environment.
What services will TEAM provide for my child?
Forney ISD students will be shuttled to Fellowship Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for a time of reading, language arts, and math tutoring depending on your child’s specific areas of need. Besides this academic instruction TEAM will be providing art enrichment, a Bible lesson, a time of praise and worship, snack, and a healthy dinner. The goal is for each TEAM meeting to not only be fun, but also be a time to sharpen academic and character development.
When does TEAM meet?
TEAM meets each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon beginning in mid-September to Thanksgiving break and starting again mid-January through the end of April. Students participating in TEAM will be transported to Fellowship Church (417 Pinson Road in Forney) by TEAM Staff Members. Children should be picked up by their parents no earlier than 5:30pm, but no later than 6pm.
