Here at Fellowship Students we work diligently to build and develop a culture that is rooted in the Gospel. Partnering with parents in the discipleship and growth of their students faith. The task of discipleship is a long path and not for the faint of heart, but it is our believe and passion that if we partner with parents, provide an environment, and establish events rooted in scripture that we may be able to better help and equip students for what God has called of every single one.
Encounter Weekend is our Discipleship Now Weekend. Encounter Weekend is February 22-24 and designed for students in 7th-12th grade. Encounter Weekend is designed to be a weekend centered on the gospel and discipleship. With students paired up according to grade and gender, while staying at a local church members house. While at the house students will have quiet bible study times, group study times, and lots of games and food.
Encounter Weekend is a community initiative between local Churches to come together for the good of the Gospel. Working to unite in one common goal under, to see a revival in Forney led by the students of Forney.
Cost is $50 and includes all meals, t-shirt, and recreation. You can register for Encounter Weekend today by clicking on the picture to your left.
Every Second Sunday, join us as we head out to AMC to fellowship over a blockbuster film. The purpose is simple, we want to develop a community of believers that love to spend time together. It is our belief that coming to watch and discuss the theological implications of a movie is a fun way to do this. Movies will be announced via social media every Saturday night. So be sure to follow us on Twitter, Instagram, and facebook.
