Purpose:

The Worship/Fine Arts Ministry of Fellowship Forney exists to lead people into a relevant and life-changing encounter with God through corporate worship and provide an avenue for the Fellowship family to use their spiritual gifts through the arts. In doing so we will be a part of leading people toward becoming fully devoted followers of Christ.

Vision:

We will provide a creative worship atmosphere where people can meet God in a unique and intimate way. We will use the creative arts to enhance the weekly worship experience of all who attend Fellowship. We will foster a climate where excellence is strived for in all areas of our Worship/Fine Arts Ministry. We will provide training for those whose gifts are found in the area of the Creative Arts and strive to equip them to develop and use their gifts.

Values:

The Worship Ministry of Fellowship values…
An Attitude of Worship - Offering God our corporate worship touches God’s heart and energizes the church for acts of service.

An Attitude of Excellence - God is worthy of our best sacrifice of praise.

An Attitude of Connection - Using the arts and technology, we strive to communicate the message of the Gospel in fresh and creative ways.

An Attitude of Oneness - Our ministry is one part of the overarching purpose of Fellowship: Developing fully devoted followers of Christ.

An Attitude of Relevance - We will strive to be in touch with the culture in which we live in order to make a maximum impact on our community by fostering worship that recognizes that lost people attend our services each week.

An Attitude of Humility - We have no room for “stars” in our Worship Ministry. Our goal is to lift up Jesus Christ.

An Attitude of Community - By working together we build relationships which, in turn, helps to strengthen our church family.

An Attitude of Service - Using our talents to glorify God is our reasonable act of worship.

An Attitude of Evangelism - By lifting up the person of Jesus Christ, He will draw all men to Himself. This is our part of the Great Commission.
