Angelfood Volunteers have the satisfaction of providing a hand-up to people and families who have desperate food insecurities. The Angel Food program also brings people together in a common effort and creates a sense of unity and purpose.
 
There are several volunteer responsibilities involved with Angelfood. Some volunteers meet early in the morning on distribution day and travel to pickup the food orders from the distribution host site. After the days orders arrive at Fellowship, other volunteers help unload and divide the products so that they may be placed into the individual orders. These boxes of Angel Food are then picked up by those who have placed orders. Still other volunteers assist customers through the checkout lines and help take orders to their vehicles.

The time commitment for Angelfood is typically between 1 1/2 and 2 hours, one day a month.
