Fellowship is committed to helping people experience freedom from the bondage of consumer debt. Statistics show that increasing indebtedness is becoming a national epidemic, especially for young families. The average American today carries eight credit cards, owes more than $8,000 in credit card debt, and spends 22% more than he/she earns. While credit card debt has doubled in the last decade so has the rate of personal bankruptcy. And an often overlooked consequence of the tremendous financial pressure felt by so many is negative impact on marriages and homes. Financial troubles are a primary reason given for the failure of many marriages.
