Peace in Conflict
In this week’s sermon, Pastor Jared continued the #Blessed series focusing on Matthew 5:9, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” He emphasized that true peace begins with having peace with God through a relationship with Jesus Christ before extending to peace with others. Pastor Jared shared practical steps to becoming peacemakers, including identifying the truth at the foundation of conflicts and recognizing our own role in disputes rather than simply blaming others. He reminded the congregation that our relationships reflect what heaven should be like, and that peace with God gives us the capacity to extend peace to others.
