God’s Plan for My Life | Romans 15:14-21
1. This morning we said, ‘you are not the plan, you are part of a plan.’ What does it mean to be part of God’s plan? Is it intimidating to you that God places expectations on us once we become His followers?
2. What do you think it means to be full of goodness (verse 14)? What is the goal of our goodness?
3. This morning we said our goodness is the result of our salvation, not the cause of it. Do you agree with that statement? What can we do better, in our lives, to increase our ‘goodness’ as Christians?
4. Verse 14 also calls us to be filled with all knowledge. Why is this necessary for a Christian? Other than simply reading God’s Word, how do we fill ourselves with knowledge?
5. What kind of instruction is Paul talking about in verse 14? Who are we called to instruct? How does being full of goodness and knowledge help us with this?
6. Does God truly expect each of us to lead, teach, encourage, and inspire others with our faith? What does it mean when we don’t obey him in these areas?
7. Read Romans 15:20. Why do you think Paul says this? Why is it so important for him to reach people who have not yet heard the Gospel? What challenge does this lay out for the church today?
