How Great Are Your Works | Psalm 92:1-8

1. Why do you think the Psalmist says, ‘It is good to give thanks to the Lord?’ Other than our rightful response to God, what else does giving thanks to God do for us?

2. This morning we said, ‘Giving thanks is not only good, it is necessary as a follower of Jesus.’ Why is giving thanks “necessary?”

3. What do you think happens to people, spiritually, when they neglect giving thanks for all things? Why is praising God in the storms of life so difficult?

4. How does praising God change our perspective? Do you believe praise has the ability to encourage you when life gets difficult? What are some biblical illustrations of this you see in Scripture?

5. Read Luke 19: 37-40. What do you think Jesus means in verse 40?

6.This morning we said, ‘What consumes your mind controls your life.’ Do you agree with that statement? Why is the battle for our mind such a powerful struggle? What are practical things we can do to win the war in our minds?

7. Psalm 92: 8 says, ‘But you, O Lord, are on high forever.’ Why is it important to keep eternity in mind? What does it mean to keep eternity in mind?
